Ayan Thakur , Head SIRCC – Has an Overall Experience of 25 + Years in the domains of
Industry Sales / Corporate Partnerships across Industry Sectors namely – Footwear , Media ,
Lubricants , Training & Development , CSR and Skill Development.
Highlights of some of Projects that he has executed in his professional career are as follows :-
Insurance Training Project @ Zee Interactive – Setting up the Insurance Training Vertical @
Zee Interactive ( a startup ) in Mumbai i.e. setting up the training centre with all necessary
infrastructure , accreditation of the Centre from IRDA , collaborating with the Insurance cos
for training their agents / advisors and running operations of the Centre.
During his stint @ Bata India Ltd. Bata collaborated with ITC on their “ Chaupal Sagar “
Project
( Rural Marketing Project ) . The project aimed in setting up rural malls to supply various
grocery related products , apparels footwear etc to the low income groups , rural poor in the
deep interiors of states in India where they have either no access or setup of retail / kirana
stores. Developed the Retail Sales channel for Mumbai region in Gulf Oil India , created a
Market Intelligence System / database for the Western Region of the company and was also
involved in ISO Audits for the company.
Initiated & executed CSR and Govt. Funded Skill Development Projects @ Tata Trusts ,
Future Group as well as NIS Sparta ( Reliance ADA Group Co ). Projects linked to placements
of youth coming from urban poor , rural poor as well as those from SC / ST & tribal
backgrounds. Post their vocational training in skill development programs in the domains of
Retail , BPO , Hospitality , BFSI , Electrical Wiring , Solar Power etc… he was responsible for
collaborating with the Industry Sectors to get them placed , supporting the Operations
Centre Teams – Pan India to ensure students join, handhold & motivate the students to
ensure long term retention in their jobs , give them alternative job opportunities in case they
are unable to adjust in the given job opportunities or are looking at other opportunities basis
their skills or interest. Projects also involved skilling and placements of ITI students into jobs
aligned to their trades @ Tata Steel and Tata Motors.
Prof. Sandeep Kumar is a faculty in Dept. of Energy Science & Engineering, IIT Bombay.
He did his B.Tech from NIT Silchar (Assam) in Mechanical Engineering in 2003. He joined
Infosys Pvt. Ltd. after his B.Tech and worked as a Software Engineer and Analyst. He left
Infosys in 2007 to pursue his dream career in research and joined IISc Bangalore for Master's
program in Center for Sustainable Technology. He later continued with his PhD in IISc
Bangalore. After finishing his PhD work, he joined IIT Bombay as a Faculty in 2017.
He has his expertise in thermo-chemical conversion of biomass and use of alternate fuel in IC
engine. His works involves both experimental work as well as CFD based models. His research
areas are Biomass Gasification, Hydrogen production from biomass, Use of alternate fuels in IC
Engines and High value Carbon Products from waste biomass and plastics.Prof Atul Mandale , Currently , Faculty – Marketing and Head of Placement Domain in SVIMS
/ SVIMS Business School. As Head of Response Dept. for the Times of India Group
publications he was responsible for Revenue Generation across Gujarat / MP/ Rajasthan.
He set up his own firm ( start up ) , Maadhyam to focus on Rural Marketing. As a Director of
his own firm , he provided Rural Consultancy & Execution of rural campaigns for the following
clients for almost two decades.

In Triton Communication , as a Vice President – he was responsible for developing new
business. Handled brands like Moov/ Krack cream / NECO / Snowhite etc. (2 Years )
In Iffco Kisan Sanchar Ltd , he was a Consultant for Maharashtra ( dealing with Agri business
owners/ financers/ agri traders / service providers for tie up with IKSL) (3 years)Prof G Mani – He is currently Head – Finance Faculty , SVIMS Business School. He has been an
Ex banker with more than 3 decades of experience in Domestic and International Banking.
Highlights of his professional career are as follows :-
Responsibilities like launching of RTGS and NEFT payment system within the bank, in-
charge of SWIFT payment system.
Treasury operations and settlements
Over the Counter Derivatives involving both Rupee and foreign currencies
Handled 2 system migrations (Core Banking Solutions and accounting interface)
Trade Finance Operations
He worked with a large French multinational bank, Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment
Bank (CA-CIB) for 16 years. Managed the Derivatives Desk in Treasury Operations. In-charge of
customer relationship and operations, Trade finance operations, Swift payment system and
rupee funds settlement.
He was associated with Mecklai Financial Services Limited for 2 years. Responsible for advising
clients on exposure management (exposure in foreign currencies)
He also worked with a nationalized bank, (now Union Bank of India) for 16 years. Worked in
different branches and managed a branch’s foreign exchange business in AhmedabadProfessor Arti Modi is a finance faculty in SVIMS / SVIMS Business School with an experience
of over 14 years in Academics and 3 years in Industry with an ever learning attitude and an
endeavour to impart quality education. She holds a double Masters both in Commerce and
Management. She is currently Pursuing her Ph.D from Mumbai University with H.R. College as
centre. She has cleared her C.A. Inter and holds a degree of Accounting Technician by ICAI.
She has also done Consultation Projects with industries including NIFCO and AMUL. Besides
she has written several research papers on various subjects in finance and presented many
papers in various conferences in India. She is certified trainer with Board of Academic and
Industry partnership where she conducts Investor Awareness programs for all strata of the
society.
She has completed her NCCMP-NSE certified capital market Professional- course with
internship with 92% and topped the class. Her qualifications also include Diploma in Tax
management and Diploma in Import Export management. She is also a certified tax return
preparer by Government of India and has completed her certification in financial modeling.
During her stint in Academics she has dealt with various subjects including Financial
Accounting, Cost Accounting, Strategic Financial management, Security Analysis and Portfolio
management, Corporate Valuation etc.
