Domestic Industrial Visit to Chandigarh & Manali

SVIMS Business School successfully conducted an 8-day Domestic Industrial Visit for PGDM students, offering them a unique blend of learning and adventure. The visit took place from February 9th to February 16th, 2025, covering renowned industries and picturesque destinations.

Industry Exposure

Under the leadership of Prof. Atul Mandale (Head Corporate Relations, SVIMS) and a team of faculty members, 131 students embarked on this insightful journey. The visit was managed by Industrial Visits and included tours of:

✅ Verka Milk Dairy, Chandigarh – Witnessed automated milk processing and production.

✅ Birla Textile Mills, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh – Observed the intricate process of thread-making from raw cotton.

✅ Steelbird Industries Ltd, Baddi Himachal Pradesh.

This experience provided students with valuable industry insights and a real-world understanding of production processes.

Exploring the Beauty of Manali

Beyond academics, students indulged in the mesmerizing landscapes of Manali and Chandigarh. They enjoyed:

🌿 Solang Valley & Sissu Valley – Snow-covered mountains, adventure sports, and breathtaking scenery.

🏞 Pinjore Garden – A tranquil retreat with historical charm.

🏙 Manali Mall Road – A vibrant hub of shopping, local cuisine, and cultural experiences.

The tour was a perfect blend of learning and leisure, ensuring students gained both practical exposure and unforgettable memories!
