10ᵗʰ Convocation ceremony (2019-21 Batch)

Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies & Research’s annual convocation was held on Saturday March 12, 2022. The venue was its very own NKES Auditorium. The Chief Guest for the convocation was Dr. Aruna Deshpande, Professor, at Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies, University of Mumbai. The dignitaries also included President of NKE Society Mr. Parthasarathi Naik, Committee Members of NKE Society Mr. Ananth Banwasi and Ms. Bhavani Bhargava, Hon. Secretaries NKE Society Mr Shashikant Joshi and Ms. Padmaja Banwasi, Dr. Purshottam Patil, Director- SVIMS and Dr. Vasumathy Hariharan, Dean Academics, SVIMS.

This year a total of 144 students graduated which consisted of 47 students from MMS, total of 69 students from PGDM and PGDM (Marketing), 28 students from PGDM (B & FS). The convocation began with a majestic and grand academic procession followed by Saraswati Vandana. The Director in his report touched upon the infrastructure developments and highlighted the new developments taking place in the institute. The graduates were awarded with the certificates. The students and the audience were then enthralled by the rousing speech of the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Aruna Deshpande. She emphasized contributing back to the community being essential.
